COWF MEXICO BORDER NOMADS & CALLI MEXIC0 OUTREACH

“No one puts their children in a boat unless the water is safer than the land.”

COWF MEXICO OUTREACH SUMMER 2023

In 2020 Children of War Foundation launched "Border Nomads" initially to provide washing stations to migrants and refugees residing in encampments on the Mexican U.S. border who were at risk for contracting COVID19.

In 2021 Border Nomads expanded to provide humanitarian aid, medical care, and resources to the House of the Poor, House of the Immigrants and EUNIME orphanage.  Since then our programming continues to expand.  So far we have provided humanitarian aid to over 10,000 migrants, refugees and orphans residing in Tijuana.  We continue to ask for support to help provide safe housing and medical care, including mental health workshops to children who have been left at the border and or without family.
